SecureMed was expanding from 4 to 12 clinics and needed HIPAA compliance before onboarding enterprise insurance partners. They had no formal security policies, inconsistent access controls, and unencrypted patient data in transit between clinics.
We conducted a gap analysis against HIPAA requirements, then implemented: end-to-end encryption for all patient data, role-based access controls, comprehensive audit logging, disaster recovery procedures, and a 40-page policy manual. We trained 85 staff members and set up ongoing quarterly security reviews.
